Kitchen Manager – Miami, FL – $70,000
We are seeking a hands-on, high-energy Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations in a fast-paced, high-volume airport restaurant environment. This is a role for a strong culinary leader who thrives in structure, pace, and precision while maintaining exceptional standards in food quality, safety, and team development.
You will be responsible for running daily kitchen operations, supporting menu execution, and leading a team of cooks in a dynamic, time-sensitive service environment where consistency and speed are everything.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including prep, service, and closing procedures
- Lead, train, and develop line cooks and kitchen staff through clear direction and hands-on coaching
- Ensure all food is prepared to recipe, portion, and plating standards with consistency across all shifts
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and health regulation compliance at all times
- Manage kitchen organization, station readiness, and workflow efficiency during peak airport volume
- Execute daily line checks, production lists, and mise en place standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years in a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or senior BOH leadership role
- Strong background in high-volume or quick-turn service environments preferred (airport, QSR+, casual dining, or multi-unit)
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, structured operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen systems, and cost awareness
- Calm, organized leadership style with strong communication skills
