Description
- Oversee and manage the overall accounting & finance operations of the organisation.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.
- Engage in continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
- Maintain banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Outstanding proficiency in major accounting software packages.
- Exceptional analytical skills and experience in strategic planning and risk management.
