The Management Accountant will be responsible for providing financial insights and support to the business. This role involves preparing management accounts, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

It leverages a vast network of routes and partnerships to connect major cities worldwide, ensuring efficient and reliable air travel.

Description

  1. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures.
    • Produce and maintain supplementary working papers for monthly management accounts.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Lead the compilation of budgets and long-term strategic plans.
    • Update and maintain the rate-setting model for the calculation of annual rates and charges.
    • Provide financial and business-related analysis, financial presentations, industry/peer group comparisons, research, and studies.
  3. Compliance and Auditing:

    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
    • Work closely with auditors to prepare and examine financial records.
    • Finalise all statutory reports and ensure appropriate filing.
  4. Financial Analysis:

    • Analyse and interpret trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures, and other related areas.
    • Identify causes of variances against budget and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Streamline and automate financial processes.
  5. Stakeholder Management:

    • Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets.
    • Share relevant and necessary financial information with investors and financial institutions.
    • Interact courteously with the public, airport vendors, contractors, and fellow employees to maintain a professional work atmosphere.

Profile

  • Advanced competency in MS Office and accounting software packages.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn
