Our client is looking for two Legal Secretaries – one in the court team and one in the conveyancing team

Description

  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence, including contracts, pleadings, and court filings

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for attorneys

  • File legal documents with courts

  • Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases in both physical and digital formats

  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct messages appropriately

  • Track deadlines and ensure timely submissions of legal documents

  • Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, and ordering office supplies

  • Assist with time entry and billing processes, as needed
