IT Technical Support Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an IT Technical Support Engineer to join a fast-paced and well-established organisation in the construction and property sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, supporting users across multiple locations, and making a real impact on project delivery.

The Role: You will be the first point of contact for technical support across a range of construction sites – resolving issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth IT operations. From setting up site offices to troubleshooting software and network issues, no two days will be the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end IT support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, AV equipment, and network setups.
  • Support site setups and new project rollouts
  • Manage user accounts, access, hardware inventory, and software installations
  • Resolve incidents via the service desk system and meet service-level expectations
  • Liaise with vendors for hardware repairs and upgrades
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and ensure documentation is kept up to date
  • Champion continuous improvement in IT services and support

Experience

  • 2+ years in a technical support or end-user computing role
  • Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Solid hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Azure, and Intune
  • Working knowledge of networking (Cisco Meraki), mobile device management, and site office setups
  • Familiar with ITIL processes and service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Relevant IT qualifications (Diploma or Degree)
