We are seeking an industrious and meticulous Assistant Management Accountant to contribute to the financial health of our thriving industrial manufacturing company based in Leeds.

Description
- Help commercial accountant review bill of material and product profitability
- Assist with analysis of margins on bus and non-bus products against historical and forecast expectations.
- Work along side commercial accountant to accurately produce monthly management accounts according to agreed deadlines. To include parts of P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Take ownership of cost centre reporting. Review cost centre performance with department heads
- Working with Sales to ensure that deposit, final bus and bus kit invoices are raised in a timely manner, and that the associated cash collection is prompt
Profile
A successful ‘Assistant Management Accountant’ should have:
- Proficiency in SAP
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles
- Have prior experience of working within an accounts department.
- Hold AAT qualification or be working towards CIMA/ACCA qualification, with experience within an accounts role.
