Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to our Accounting & Finance department. The individual will be responsible for invoicing, receivables, and collections within the Charity working closely with the community groups.

Description

  • Managing and processing invoicing and receivables, preparing weekly payment runs
  • Process donations, grants, legacies and other receipts, liaising with budget holders to ensure correct allocation within the general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing of debtors on a weekly basis and following up with this
  • Conducting collections and resolving any related issues
  • Manage the finance mailboxes daily
  • Ensuring you are providing accurate financial information to the wider team and communities.
  • Ensure all payments are paid in the allocated time agreed in the payment terms.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate financial record-keeping

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have:

  • Part Qualified Accountant- AAT, ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience using Business Central would be highly beneficial
  • Experience working within a charity
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to work with the community leader
  • Experienced bookkeeper with detailed knowledge in Accounts Receivable/ credit control
