Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to our Accounting & Finance department. The individual will be responsible for invoicing, receivables, and collections within the Charity working closely with the community groups.

Description
- Managing and processing invoicing and receivables, preparing weekly payment runs
- Process donations, grants, legacies and other receipts, liaising with budget holders to ensure correct allocation within the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Reviewing of debtors on a weekly basis and following up with this
- Conducting collections and resolving any related issues
- Manage the finance mailboxes daily
- Ensuring you are providing accurate financial information to the wider team and communities.
- Ensure all payments are paid in the allocated time agreed in the payment terms.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate financial record-keeping
Profile
A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have:
- Part Qualified Accountant- AAT, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience using Business Central would be highly beneficial
- Experience working within a charity
- Excellent communication skills & ability to work with the community leader
- Experienced bookkeeper with detailed knowledge in Accounts Receivable/ credit control
