An exclusive private members club in Manhattan is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary direction of its Mediterranean kitchen. Working alongside the Executive Head Chef, you will oversee a team dedicated to excellence, using the highest quality seasonal ingredients in a refined, high-end setting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, food quality, sanitation, and compliance
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus, ensuring consistency and excellence
  • Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and kitchen systems
  • Foster collaboration between front and back-of-house teams
  • Maintain top-tier standards in safety, hygiene, and food handling

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leadership in fine dining kitchens
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training
  • NYC Food Protection Certificate required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills
  • Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
