Description

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for property portfolios.
  • Manage the reconciliation of property accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Oversee tenant billing and ensure timely collection of rental income.
  • Maintain and update property budgets, addressing variances as needed.
  • Support the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Property Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or relevant degree in Accounting & Finance.
  • Property accounting experience, including RICS service charge
  • Proficiency using Qube accounting software.
  • A thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
