Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing quality control processes and ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits in line with industry standards.
- Identifying potential issues and implementing corrective action plans.
- Collaborating with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to streamline processes.
- Training and mentoring junior staff in quality control practices.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Reporting to management and making recommendations for improvements.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control.
Profile
A successful Chief Quality Inspector should have:
- Experience programming and operating CMM.
- Solid understanding of quality control procedures and standards within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
