Description

  • Leading the financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial health.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Managing risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the executive team with strategic decision-making.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure value for money and strong financial governance.
  • Lead and manage the accounting & finance department
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies
  • Reviewing all processes and procedures

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Director should have:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director within social housing sector
  • Experience of reporting and presenting complex information to Boards or Committee
  • Experience of strategic finance, business planning and cost analysis
  • Evidence of developing processes and procedures
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Experience of performance improvement, quality assurance, risk management and value for money improvement
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Offer

  • £550 – £650 a day
  • Hybrid role – 2 days on site
  • 3-6 month role
