Description
The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:
- Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Management of a company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out effectively
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
- Assist with the analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with the month-end quarter-end, and year-end processes, including journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for month end activities
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Previous management accounts experience
- Active studier looking to achieve professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or similar
- Proficiency in accounting software with advanced MS excel skills
- Strong understanding of data analysis, forecasting and reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A ambitious, can-do attitude
