Description
- Overseeing the financial accounting and control functions.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory (FVA and Companies House) requirements.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors.
- Preparing and analysing annual budgets and financial plans.
- Implementing and monitoring accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinating month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Providing financial advice to the organisation’s management.
- Identifying areas for cost reductions and operational improvements.
Profile
A successful Financial Accounting and Control Manager should have:
- Fully qualified – ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Social Housing Sector.
- Exceptional knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software applications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of £65,000 – £72,000.
